Robotic or MIG Welder

MIG, OEM Welders, and/or Robotic Welders

West Bend company looking for MIG, OEM Welders, and/or Robotic Welders! Looking for experience in either manual welding or robotic welding.

Key duties and responsibilities may include:

• Lift work pieces manually or using hoist and secure work piece in fixture or loads automatic feeding device
• Calculate as set controls to regulate machine factors, such as wire feed speed, amperage, polarity, type of gas, and type of weld rod
• Start machines, engage feed, and observe operation
• Inspect and measure machined work pieces to verify conformance to specifications
• Move machine controls and guides to adjust machine
• Unload welded frames from robotic welder and place on appropriate containers
• Clamp, hold, tack-weld, heat-bend, grind, or bolt component parts to obtain required configurations and positions for welding
• Other duties as needed / assigned

Preferred Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent education
• FANUC Robotic Certification preferred (not required!)
• Certificate or degree in welding preferred (not required!)
• 1 year or more of welding experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Ability to read and interpret documents like blueprints, welding symbols, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals

Job Specifications:

• Pay Range: $18-28/hour DOE
• Shift(s): 2nd and 3rd
• Hours:
  
  Mon-Fri 2pm-10pm or Sun-Thurs 10pm-6am
