Quality Control Technician-Food Industry 2nd Shift

Our client, a leading organization in the food manufacturing industry, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Control Technician-Food Industry 2nd shift to join their team. As a Quality Control Technician-Food Industry 2nd shift, you will be an integral part of the quality assurance team supporting production operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to maintaining high standards of quality and safety within a diverse and inclusive work environment.

Job Title:

Quality Control Technician-Food Industry 2nd shift

Location:

Jackson, WI

Pay Range: $26.10/hr.

Shift: 2pm - 10pm, Monday through Friday

What's the Job?

  • Perform laboratory testing and quality control checks to support production activities throughout the plant.
  • Adhere to all safety policies and procedures while maintaining a hazard-free work environment.
  • Conduct environmental monitoring, swabbing/testing, and routine & non-routine laboratory testing.
  • Verify sanitation processes and facilitate compliance with foreign material programs.
  • Review and disposition raw materials, enter QC data, and maintain manual records and logs.

What's Needed?

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a quality assurance role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic setting with a team-oriented mindset.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to follow instructions and record data accurately.
  • Physical ability to stand, walk, kneel, reach, climb, pull, and bend regularly, and work in various environmental conditions.
