This role plays a critical part in ensuring equipment readiness, efficient logistics, and seamless day-to-day operations that support project timelines and business goals.

Role Description

* Lead daily operations across maintenance, yard, and logistics functions

* Coordinate schedules, resources, and workflows to meet production demands

* Manage transportation planning, routing, and delivery coordination

* Support and develop the lead, drivers, and other team members

* Partner with internal teams to align priorities and ensure execution

* Drive process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce downtime

* Ensure equipment and facilities are maintained/repaired and operating effectively

* Monitor performance, manage costs, and support operational reporting

* Assist with hiring, training, and performance management

* Help maintain a safe, compliant, and well-organized work environment

Key Qualifications

* 5 years of leadership experience in operations, logistics, maintenance, or a related field

* Bachelor's degree in production, logistics, or a related field

* Ability to manage and quickly respond to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment

* Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

* Effective communication and team collaboration abilities

* Experience working with equipment in transportation or production environments is a plus

* Able to meet physical demands including material handling and extended periods of standing and movement

* Proficiency with standard business tools and systems, including technology

Work Environment & Schedule

* Primarily based in a production/shop and yard environment

* Regular interaction with equipment, materials, weather, and active work zones

* Schedule typically aligns with first shift, with flexibility required based on operational needs

* Occasional extended hours or after-hours support will be needed
