Parsons Behle & Latimer has an immediate opening for a Legal Assistant&Office Managerin our Jackson, Wyoming office.
This is an in-office positionwithgeneralhoursof8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Monday – Friday. Pay is commensurate with experience and/or education.
We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Legal Assistant & Office Manager to support the daily operations of the Jackson, Wyoming office.
The Jackson office boasts a collegial environment rooted in our local community, but which also benefits from Parsons’ larger network and community of staff and attorneys throughout the intermountain west.
This dual-role position combines legal administrative support with office management responsibilities to ensure efficient workflow, exceptional client service, and smooth office operations. The ideal candidate is professional, dependable, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining strict confidentiality.
They are organized, resourceful, and capable of anticipating needs before they arise. They demonstrate excellent judgment, communicate effectively, and thrive in an environment where accuracy, discretion, and exceptional client service are essential.
- Prepare, proofread, and file legal documents.
- Manage attorney calendars, deadlines, and court dates.
- Communicate professionally with clients, courts, and opposing counsel.
- Schedule appointments, meetings, and hearings.
- Maintain electronic and physical client files.
- Assist with client intake and document collection.
- Monitor case deadlines and ensure timely follow-up.
- Oversee daily office operations and administrative processes.
- Answerphone sand direct inquiries.
- Manage office supplies, equipment, and vendor relationships.
- Coordinate incoming and outgoing mail.
- Assist with billing, invoicing, and payment tracking.
- Maintain organized office records and administrative systems.
- Support attorneys and staff to ensure efficient office workflow.
- Position requires2+yearslegalsecretarial experience in a professional office setting.(Educational achievement may be considered in lieu of experience.)
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat,and case management software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
