We’re looking for a motivated Civil Design Engineer Technician with a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from an accredited four-year college or university to join our well-established company! What

You’ll Do
  • Work closely with Project Managers and experienced engineers on a variety of exciting projects, using prescribed methods to complete limited and specific portions of a broader assignment. Every day brings something new!
  • Apply your skills to real-world challenges—whether it’s technical studies, investigations, or hands‑on design work. Create detailed engineering designs for infrastructure projects (roads, bridges, drainage systems). Use CAD software (like AutoCAD or Civil 3D) to produce design drawings and specifications.
  • Be a part of project teams that deliver quality results on time and within budget. Communicate design concepts and project progress to stakeholders and clients. Collaborate with contractors during construction phases to address design‑related issues. Your work will make a difference!
  • Dive into learning opportunities across a range of project types while gaining valuable industry experience. Identify and resolve engineering problems that arise during the design or construction process. Conduct site visits to assess conditions and gather data. Analyze project feasibility and prepare reports. Maintain detailed project documentation and prepare progress reports.

Requirements What We’re Looking For
  • A bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from an accredited four-year college or university.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Basic understanding of and a passion for honing your skills in AutoCAD and other Windows‑based engineering & surveying applications.
  • A valid driver’s license and enthusiasm for working in the field.
Bonus Points If You Have
  • FE/EI certification and some practical work experience.
  • A drive to master the basics of design and analysis in one of the firm’s major technical disciplines.
  • A knack for building great working relationships with your colleagues.
