Description

  • Client, Design Team, + Trade Partner Coordination
  • Build foundational relationships with customers, architects, engineers, trade partners, and community members through day-to-day interactions.
  • Support communication and coordination across design, engineering, ownership, and vendor partners to ensure expectations are aligned.
  • Assist the project team in identifying potential cost-savings, constructability considerations, and value-add solutions.
  • Participate in industry networking events to build relationships with potential future hires and/or build relationships with industry professionals.
  • Project Planning, Scheduling, + Procurement
  • Assist Superintendents and Project Managers in developing accurate schedules and sequencing plans.
  • Help coordinate procurement efforts, including tracking material needs and working with the Superintendent to prevent delivery delays.
  • Support monitoring of material deliveries and ensure conformance to specifications and contract documents.
  • Document Control + Project Updates
  • Prepare, review, maintain, and distribute project documents (RFIs, submittals, specifications, construction documents, ASIs, closeout items, etc.)
  • Prepare agendas, meeting minutes, and action item lists for various project coordination meetings.
  • Assist with drafting and managing trade partner and vendor scope documents and subcontractor agreements
  • Assist with tracking key financial indicators such as budget updates and change management documentation.

Who You Are:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or similar
  • Prior experience as a Project Engineer or Project Engineer Intern in the construction, architecture, or engineering industry
