Overnight Guest Services Representative (Night Audit)
We are seeking a friendly, professional Overnight Guest Services Representative (Night Audit) to provide exceptional overnight guest service while ensuring the accuracy of daily hotel financial and operational records. This position combines front desk hospitality with essential night audit responsibilities, helping create a safe, welcoming environment for guests and ensuring a smooth transition between business days.
What does a Night Audit do?
As the overnight face of the resort, you'll be responsible for welcoming late-arriving guests, assisting with overnight guest requests, completing the nightly audit process, and preparing the property for the next day's operations.
This role requires someone who is detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable working independently. The ideal candidate enjoys delivering outstanding customer service while maintaining accuracy in reporting and administrative tasks.
Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver exceptional, personalized guest service throughout the overnight shift.
Welcome late-arriving guests and ensure efficient, friendly check-in and check-out experiences.
Respond promptly and professionally to overnight guest requests, questions, and concerns.
Resolve guest issues with professionalism and sound judgment, escalating when necessary.
Complete the automated nightly audit process, balancing guest accounts, reconciling daily revenue, and verifying financial transactions.
Prepare and distribute required daily operational and occupancy reports.
Process reservations, room changes, and payment transactions accurately.
Monitor daily arrivals, departures, and room status to support smooth morning operations.
Coordinate with Housekeeping, Maintenance, Security, and other departments regarding overnight needs and next-day priorities.
Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk and lobby areas.
Promote resort amenities, dining options, spa services, and local activities.
Help maintain a safe and secure environment by monitoring the property during overnight hours and following established safety procedures.

Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality and guest satisfaction
Verbal communication and active listening abilities
Skilled in conflict resolution and quick, thoughtful problem-solving
Comfortable multitasking
Flexible availability, including weekends, evenings, and holidays
High level of professionalism, responsibility, and personal presentation
Fluency in English; additional language proficiency is a plus
Familiarity with Hotel Management Software (PMS systems) is an advantage, though not required. Comprehensive, hands-on training is provided
