Overnight Shift Lead

We are seeking a highly motivated Overnight Shift Lead to join our Catering department. If you have a passion for serving others, then join the Tailwind team! As a Catering Shift Lead, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our fast-paced catering kitchen during your overnight shift. You will be expected to provide excellent customer service and maintain high standards of food quality and safety while leading your shift by example.

You will be a key player in ensuring that catering orders are prepared and delivered on time and that overnight operations run efficiently.

Full-time preferred; part-time may be available depending on scheduling needs. Overnight shift from 7PM - 4AM. Tailwind encourages Veterans and Military family members to apply!

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Leads the catering kitchen during an overnight shift
• Understands and follows all policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines, and training programs set forth by Tailwind
• Works as a member of the team to ensure success in all areas of the catering department
• Fills in where needed to ensure that catering service standards and efficient overnight operations are met
• Delivers meals and catering orders to designated locations as needed
• Maintains a hygienic and safe work environment at all times
• Reports to work punctually and assists in the event of an emergency as outlined by catering department standards and all Tailwind policies
• Ensures that equipment is maintained as outlined in the catering kitchen's safety and preventive maintenance program
• Treats both hourly employees and members of the Management team with professionalism and respect

Qualifications/

Skills:

• Capable of working in a standing position for long periods of time
• Capable of reaching, bending, and frequently lifting up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Comfortable working overnight hours

Requirements:

• Must be able to work overnight shift hours
• Must be able to pass a background check to receive an airport badge
• Must have reliable transportation and the ability to be punctual
