Position Summary

The Villa Rental Consultant reports to the Villa Rental Supervisor and combines luxury hospitality, consultative sales and disciplined follow-through to turn guest inquiries into successful reservations and lasting relationships.

Day to day, the Consultant responds to prospective guests, asks thoughtful questions to understand their needs, recommends the best-fit homes and experiences, explains pricing and value, and confidently guides qualified opportunities toward a reservation. The role also includes personalized follow-up, outreach to prior guests and inquiries, accurate documentation in company systems, and close collaboration with Concierge and other departments to ensure important guest information is communicated early and accurately.

Key Responsibilities

Respond promptly and professionally to assigned guest inquiries across approved communication channels.

Ask thoughtful questions to understand each guest's dates, group composition, budget, interests, preferences and expectations.

Recommend the best-fit homes and experiences, clearly explaining meaningful differences in location, amenities, seasonality, pricing and value.

Guide qualified opportunities through the decision-making process and confidently ask for the reservation when appropriate.

Maintain timely, personalized follow-up until the guest books, declines or the opportunity is reasonably closed.

Reconnect with prior guests and inquiries, cultivate referrals and identify appropriate opportunities for future stays.

Follow homeowner requirements and revenue-management guidelines while protecting pricing discipline and helping guests find the right solution.

Learn relevant guest preferences, celebrations and interests to personalize recommendations and support repeat business.

Collaborate closely with Concierge and other departments, communicating guest information and special requests accurately and promptly.

Remain familiar with available Concierge services and identify appropriate opportunities to enhance each stay.

Maintain accurate and timely records of guest preferences, lead activity, follow-up, tasks, opportunity status and reasons for lost business.

Use Track, Breezeway, CRM, communications, pricing, reporting and approved AI tools proficiently.

Maintain current knowledge of the villa portfolio, Jackson Hole, seasonal considerations and company procedures.

Provide accurate property, payment and reservation information, promptly correcting or escalating anything that appears incomplete, conflicting or outdated.

Take ownership of guest matters through resolution, exercise sound judgment and discretion, and manage multiple priorities without sacrificing accuracy or service quality.

Required Qualifications

At least three years (3) of experience in luxury hospitality, consultative sales, travel, vacation rentals or another relationship-based client service environment.

Demonstrated experience managing guest or client inquiries from initial contact through purchase, reservation or appropriate closure.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate professionally and confidently with discerning clients.

Proven ability to understand client needs, recommend appropriate solutions, build relationships and confidently ask for the business.

Strong organizational skills with a demonstrated record of timely follow-up, accurate documentation and dependable execution.
