The Crusher Laborer supports aggregate production operations by assisting in the safe and efficient operation of crushing equipment. This position is responsible for general labor duties at the crusher plant, including maintenance, clean‑up, and material handling, while adhering to all company safety policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions)- Perform machinery maintenance and repairs.
- Unplug and shovel off conveyors and screens.
- Change out screens, rollers, cone liners, etc.
- Repair conveyor problems. Grease moving machine parts.
- Perform crusher machinery set up and take down which includes running cables and hoses, setting up blocks, assembling/disassembling machinery, operating skidsteer to move parts, tarping, shoveling aggregate, etc.
- Keep crusher machinery area clean of debris and shovel aggregate.
- Operate equipment to include skidsteer (and loader if trained).
- Move excess materials from around the crusher machinery.

Education/Experience- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous experience in aggregate, construction, or industrial environments is a plus.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks (lifting, bending, standing for extended periods).
- Basic mechanical aptitude preferred.
- Strong commitment to safety and teamwork.
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to write correspondences and memos.
- Basic arithmetic and use of common units of measure.
- Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed, but uninvolved written or oral instructions.

- Knowledge of Inventory and Order processing systems; use job specific computer system for ticketing and two‑way radio for communications.
- May be subject to drug testing, and physical agility testing.
- Current and valid driver’s license.
