Pain Management Nurse Practitioner​/Physician Assistant

Compass Palliative Care, a leading California-based palliative care provider, seeks outstanding Nurse Practitioners/Physician Assistants with experience and interest in palliative andpainmanagement. Our practice provides palliative andpainmanagement appointments for California-based patients. Our practice provides palliative andpainmanagement services in the ALF and SNF settings in the Cheyenne area.

The practitioner will be assigned a specific patientloadfor which they will be responsible. Our program is run by experienced and board-certified physicians who take pride in providing training and in-service education to their staff. They believe in the advancement of their staff as well as creating the best possible outcomes for the patients they serve.

• Assess patients in an ALF/SNF environment
• Provide palliative and pain management to treat the patient best
• Perform pain management procedures as needed
• Define and document patient diagnoses
• Prescribing and refilling medications
• Patient and family education and management
• Notate findings and treatment course in patient charts, including follow-up notes
• Actively participate in departmental activities to improve training methods and achieve company goals

• Must be licensed as an NP or PA in Wyoming
• Must have an active DEA license
