The Sales Merchandiser position is responsible for executing Anderson Merchandiser standards to drive sales and meet retailer and client expectations. This position reports to the Market Sales Manager and requires daily communication and follow-up with the Territory Sales Lead.
- Build rapport through daily communication with store associates and management
- Educate customers and store personnel on the features and benefits of our client’s brands and product lines
- Execute all required tasks, projects, resets, and displays with accuracy by following all provided instructions
- Maintain accuracy and high quality of work to meet or exceed client expectations
- Merchandize and execute all assigned projects with the required quality and accuracy to maintain account aesthetics and consistently deliver above- BBaverage project execution compliance
- Have detailed knowledge of all company policies
- Communicate with the Territory Sales Lead daily, reporting activities, sales opportunities, and any potential barriers, and keep the Market Sales Manager informed
- Use all available functions of the handheld device consistently and accurately
- Maintain confidentiality of company, client, and retailer information
- Must be able to lift objects and product up to 50 lbs frequently, and lift up to 100 lbs with assistance from another associate
- Work can be performed while sitting, standing, or walking
- Requires fine manipulation of hands and fingers, bending, twisting, squatting, climbing, and overall upper and lower body mobility
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, overnights, and weekends
- High School diploma or equivalency certification required
- Valid driver’s license required; travel to additional locations may be necessary
- Auto liability insurance must be maintained
- Must have access to a computer, internet, printing capabilities, and e- BBmail
- Customer service or sales experience preferred
