Experienced Motel Maintenance Professional

Position Summary

The Hotel Maintenance supervisor is responsible for the maintenance, repair, and overall upkeep of hotel facilities, guest rooms, grounds, and equipment. The ideal candidate will have experience in general building maintenance, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance programs.

• Perform routine inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and mechanical systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and general maintenance issues.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and staff.
• Conduct preventative maintenance to minimize equipment downtime and extend asset life.
• Maintain hotel grounds, walkways, parking areas, and exterior facilities.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and hotel policies.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs and work order records.
• Assist with renovations, room upgrades, and special projects as needed.
• Coordinate with outside contractors when necessary.

• Minimum 3 years of hotel, commercial, or facility maintenance experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, drywall, painting, and carpentry.
• Ability to diagnose and repair a wide variety of maintenance issues.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks including climbing ladders, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.
