The Town of Jackson, Wyoming, is hiring a Street Operator/Collection System Technician in the Public Works Department. The pay range is $29.82 - $33/hr or $62,025 - $68,640 annually with full benefits year‑round.
This position is a full‑time role. It provides long‑term career opportunities with on‑the‑job training for those selected without experience or required licenses.
ResponsibilitiesPrimary duties include cleaning, maintaining, repairing, and monitoring wastewater collection lines and system; operating the sewer jet; and performing snow removal operations in winter months.
QualificationsAny combination of education and experience that provides the required skill and knowledge is qualifying. Typical qualifications include:
- High school graduation or equivalent.
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) (or ability to obtain within 2 months).
- Level II DEQ Wastewater Collection License (or ability to obtain within 18 months).
A $7,500 signing/longevity bonus is provided over 3 years. Operators are eligible to advance to higher positions with additional compensation increases.

Other InformationThis position participates in the federally mandated DOT‑FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Testing Program (pre‑employment, reasonable suspicion, post‑accident, and random testing). Below‑market rental housing options may be available.
