- Create and support prototypes, lab testing, and field validation activities; iterate designs based on test data and feedback.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, industrial engineering, and suppliers to resolve production issues, optimize processes, and ensure scalable manufacturing.
- Work with cross-functional teams on requirements for ventilation systems, fans, HVAC components, or other system-level integration when applicable.
- Implement continuous improvement practices such as Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma tools to reduce cost and lead time while improving quality.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, drawings, specifications, and product lifecycle records to support regulatory and quality needs.
- Support troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for in-field issues and provide engineering change recommendations and documentation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field

- Proven experience creating and interpreting technical drawings and engineering documentation
- Solid understanding of DFM principles
- Familiarity with prototyping techniques and 3D modeling
- Working knowledge of materials and their application in product design
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams
Benefits:
- Salary from $90k-135k DOE
- Competitive salary and excellent benefits package
- 100% company-paid health insurance
