Registered Nurse (RN), FT, NightsFull Time RN at UH Jacksonville Hospital, Jacksonville, AR, US.
Qualifications- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
- Current licensure in the State of Arkansas.
- Proficient oral and written communication skills.
- Individualized orientation period of no less than 2 weeks and generally no greater than 3 months.
- Ability to practice nursing as defined by: “The diagnosis and treatment of human responses to actual or potential health alterations.”
- Ability to utilize the nursing process: assessment, identification of nursing problems, implementation, and evaluation, including administering treatments, medications, diagnostic tests, formulating plans of care, collaborating with other providers, and educating patients or significant others.
- Eligible for safety‑sensitive positions.
Responsible for the delivery of patient care through the nursing process; collaborates with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes; serves as a resource nurse when oriented and so directed; supports the organization’s mission, vision and values; applies knowledge of patient age, cultural diversity, and spiritual and emotional needs; contributes to quality nursing care through performance improvement techniques.
Physical RequirementsMaintains good physical and emotional well‑being; requires lifting and moving patients, pushing carts, wheelchairs, and other equipment; lifting or pushing up to 50 pounds; bending over for tasks (chest tube drainage, urinary output, etc.); maneuvering throughout the halls, stairways, and patient rooms during emergencies; visual and auditory skills; significant writing and computer entry; exposure to malodorous, infectious body fluids; may require wearing gloves, masks, gowns, and goggles.
ShiftNight shift: 7 pm to 7 am; shifts vary on weekdays and weekends.
