SummaryThe Sales Associate is responsible for providing quality customer service and driving product sales. The Sales Associate is knowledgeable in each product area or department in our store, upholds policies, procedures and standards listed in the visual manual, fully promotes each sale and/or promotion, and serves as an ambassador of the organization and brand. They create a unique customer experience, helping to acquire and retain long‑time customers.
The Sales Associate is passionate about giving outstanding customer service and promoting merchandise.
- Deliver exceptional customer service as outlined in the customer service manual, helping customers as they enter the store and during peak periods.
- Promote and sell services and merchandise.
- Set personal goals to grow and improve selling skills and track overall sales.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and standards as listed in the operations policy manual, personnel policy manual, visual manual, customer service manual, and relevant memos.
- Assist in daily store operations, including completing work lists, clean‑up lists, weekly shipments, and store maintenance.
- Use product presentations to promote and sell goods, following guidance in the product knowledge manual.
- Consistently achieve or exceed sales targets and goals.
- Identify and communicate merchandise needs, pricing concerns, and operational problems to store management.
- Attend all staff meetings and technology clinics for the store.
- Protect company assets and financial information by ensuring accurate internal control procedures and promptly reporting potential fraud risk.
- There are no supervisory responsibilities for this role.
- 0-2 years of customer service experience.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
- Self‑starter with initiative to take on important tasks without being asked.
- Strong attention to detail and capacity to handle multiple tasks simultaneously with precision.
- Team‑player, passionate about outstanding customer service and selling merchandise.
