Guide and control the straight edge, screed, or float to achieve a flat, even, and properly graded concrete surface.

Spread and strike off concrete to specified thickness and elevation.

Maintain alignment with 12 Inch Straight Edge, forms, and project plans.

Apply finishing techniques including smooth, broom, or specified surface finishes.

Edge concrete surfaces along forms, curbs, and transitions for clean lines.

Identify and correct surface defects such as low spots, cracks, or voids.

Patch and repair concrete surfaces using appropriate materials and tools.

Follow all Weaver - Bailey safety standards and jobsite procedures.

Maintain tools, equipment, and clean work areas.

All candidates must successfully pass a pre-employment physical and drug screening. Testing requirements may be Non-DOT or DOT regulated depending on the position applied for.

• 2 years of experience in concrete straight edge finishing in Civil Construction
• Knowledge of concrete placement, screeding, and finishing techniques
• Ability to read a tape measure and follow grade/alignment instructions
• Ability to work outdoors in varied weather conditions
• Physical ability to lift, bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to job sites as needed

• Experience operating screeds, floats, and power finishing equipment.
• Valid Driver’s License
• Ability to read blueprints and grade stakes.
• 5+ years of experience in concrete straight edge finishing in Civil Construction
