Stellar Energy specializes in a wide range of engineering and manufacturing solutions within the energy sector including turbine inlet air chilling, central utility plants, district cooling, combined heat & power systems, thermal energy storage, inlet air heating, data center chilling, and inlet air chilling for LNG facilities. The primary function is to ensure the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions.
This includes providing financial information to management to support financial decision-making by researching and analyzing accounting data and preparing reports.
- Manage professional level accounting functions and the preparation of reports including earnings, profits/losses, cash balances, and cost accounting.
- Manages daily cash position and cash forecasting processes.
- Confirms accuracy of operating and financial reports.
- Advises upper management regarding matters, such as effective use of resources and methods, for preventing capital being frozen.
- Interprets accounts and records to upper management.
- Analyzes records of present and past operations, trends and costs, revenues, commitments, and obligations incurred.
- Develops, installs, and maintains budgeting systems that provide control of expenses.
- Documents financial transactions by preparing general ledger account entries and by maintaining records and files, reconciling accounts, and analyzing account information.
- Reconciles balance sheet and select income statement accounts along with accounting system modules/subsidiary ledgers to the general ledger.
- Ensures that daily operational (Purchasing, Accounts Receivable Billing, Cash Receipts and Disbursements and Payroll) financial transactions are correct.
- Prepares for ISO 9001 and other audits.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent number of years of experience plus five years of accounting experience.
