We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Full Charge Bookkeeper to manage our financial operations and help support rapid growth.

Star Catcher Industries, Inc. (Star Catcher) was founded in 2024 by multiple time successful space entrepreneurs Andrew Rush and Michael Snyder and experienced VC and operator Bryan Lyandvert to eliminate power constraints on satellites and other spacecraft by constructing the Star Catcher Network: the world’s first space-based energy grid. Star Catcher’s proprietary power beaming technology will beam power to other satellites in space as a service, enabling client spacecraft to use their existing solar arrays to receive more power, more consistent power, and higher concentrations of power in order to increase capability and uptime as well as reduce upfront spending and overall mission cost.

Star Catcher Industries, Inc. (Star Catcher), located in Jacksonville, FL, has an immediate opening for a Full Charge Bookkeeper
. We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to manage our financial operations and help support rapid growth. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented individual with a strong background in managing financial records and transactions. The position requires proficiency in AR/AP, Balance Sheet Reconciliations and Debits and Credits with a solid understanding of GAAP principles. This role is critical to providing financial visibility to leadership in a fast-paced startup environment.

• Manage all aspects of the accounting cycle, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
• Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and prepare monthly financial reports.
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Prepare financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
• Collaborate with management to analyze financial performance and assist in decision making.
• Support tax preparation by providing necessary documentation and reports to external CPA firms.
• Creating Processes:
  Develop and implement efficient accounting processes and procedures to improve accuracy and streamline workflows.
• Other bookkeeping and administrative tasks as needed.

• Proven experience managing Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• 5+ years of bookkeeping experience, ideally in aerospace, tech, or a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles.
• Strong proficiency in Quick Books, Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace (Docs, Slides, Sheets).
• High attention to detail and accuracy, and ability to anticipate needs and think critically in a dynamic setting.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Proven track record of handling confidential information with discretion.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with vendors and customers.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and adapt to change.
• Passion for space and technology is a strong plus!

• Experience working in a startup or small business environment.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, and scheduling platforms (e.g., Calendly, Concur).
• Experience using Asana and Slack work management platforms to coordinate projects, manage deliverables, and track status updates across teams.
• Proficient with Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Slack, and Google Meet for coordinating internal and external meetings, including large-scale virtual events and briefings.
• Capable of organizing and analyzing data using Excel, Google Sheets, or project tracking tools; able to generate summaries, visual dashboards, and action insights.
• Familiarity with cloud-based platforms like SharePoint, Dropbox, and Google Drive to manage documentation and ensure efficient collaboration across departments.
