Vaco Staffing is hiring an AP Specialist for our client in Jacksonville, Florida. This position is contract with a hybrid work environment.
Duties/Responsibilities- Process Regional Accounts Payable invoices in a timely and accurate manner.
- Review Regional Accounts Payable reports and resolve any outstanding issues in a timely manner.
- Identify reoccurring problems relating to Regional Accounts Payable, communicate those issues surrounding these problems to management and be part of the solution to resolve these problems.
- Resolve and reconcile invoice issues including GRIR; trade payable; consignment; AP vendor related GL accounts.
- Assist with monthly and year-end close procedures.
- Systematically verify and audits accounts for completeness and accuracy according to established SOX controls.
- AP/Invoice payment experience
- Minimum 1 year Experience working with SAP or another ERP system.
- SAP experience is highly preferred – Systems knowledge/ability is required, previous ERP experience required
- Microsoft Office experience, must have strong Excel skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Action Oriented.

- Proven time management and prioritization skills
