Accountant, Financial Reporting, Financial Analyst

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to support the day-to-day accounting operations of a growing financial services organization. This role will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing journal entries, performing account reconciliations, assisting with month-end close, and supporting financial reporting activities. The ideal candidate is analytical, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment.

• Prepare and post journal entries and maintain the general ledger
• Perform monthly account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
• Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
• Prepare financial reports and supporting schedules
• Analyze financial data and identify trends or variances
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and audit activities
• Review and process invoices, payments, and expense reports
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies
• Assist with internal and external audit requests
• Maintain accurate documentation and accounting records
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and controls

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 2-5+ years of accounting experience
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles
• Experience with general ledger accounting and account reconciliations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs
• Experience working within ERP or accounting systems
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines

• CPA or CPA-track preferred
• Experience in insurance, financial services, warranty, lending, or other regulated industries
• Experience supporting audits and financial reporting
• Knowledge of financial controls and compliance requirements
