Senior Staff Accountant | Project & Construction Accounting

Salary: $90,000 - $110,000 per year

We are seeking a Senior Staff Accountant to support accounting activities tied primarily to the company's Edge Data Center business. This role will focus heavily on project accounting, Construction-in-Progress (CIP) accounting, financial reporting support, and month-end accounting activities while partnering closely with accounting leadership and operational teams.

• Prepare and post journal entries
• Perform account reconciliations
• Support general ledger activities
• Assist with month-end close processes
• Maintain accounting schedules and supporting documentation
• Support financial reporting requirements
• Analyze accounting transactions and balances
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of accounting records
• Support Construction-in-Progress (CIP) accounting activities
• Track construction and project-related costs
• Assist with project accounting functions
• Support capital project reporting and analysis
• Monitor project expenditures and account classifications
• Maintain documentation supporting capital investments
• Partner with operations and project teams on financial tracking
• Assist with process improvements and reporting enhancements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred
• Strong accounting fundamentals and technical accounting knowledge
• Construction accounting experience highly preferred
• Experience supporting month-end close activitiesERP experience
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced and evolving environment
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Great Plains and/or Microsoft Business Central experience preferred
• CIP accounting experience preferred
• Project accounting experience preferred
