We are seeking a Senior Staff Accountant to support accounting activities tied primarily to the company's Edge Data Center business. This role will focus heavily on project accounting, Construction‑in‑Progress (CIP) accounting, financial reporting support, and month‑end accounting activities while partnering closely with accounting leadership and operational teams.

Location:

Jacksonville, FL 32256 | 100% Onsite

• Prepare and post journal entries
• Perform account reconciliations
• Support general ledger activities
• Assist with month‑end close processes
• Maintain accounting schedules and supporting documentation
• Support financial reporting requirements
• Analyze accounting transactions and balances
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of accounting records
• Support Construction‑in‑Progress (CIP) accounting activities
• Track construction and project‑related costs
• Assist with project accounting functions
• Support capital project reporting and analysis
• Monitor project expenditures and account classifications
• Maintain documentation supporting capital investments
• Partner with operations and project teams on financial tracking
• Assist with process improvements and reporting enhancements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred
• Strong accounting fundamentals and technical accounting knowledge
• Construction accounting experience highly preferred
• Experience supporting month‑end close activities
• ERP experience
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced and evolving environment
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Great Plains and/or Microsoft Business Central experience preferred
• CIP accounting experience preferred
• Project accounting experience preferred
