Staff Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our clients growing team. This role is ideal for an accounting professional who enjoys maintaining accurate financial records, supporting month-end close, and helping improve day-to-day accounting operations. • Prepare journal entries and maintain accurate general ledger records.
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.
• Reconcile bank accounts, balance sheet accounts, and other financial records.
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable activities as needed.
• Help prepare financial reports, schedules, and audit support documentation.
• Identify discrepancies and work with internal teams to resolve issues promptly.
• Maintain compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and internal controls.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 1+ years of accounting experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of general accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in Excel and accounting software.
• Excellent attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage deadlines and communicate effectively across teams.

This position offers a salary range of $55,000-$75,000 depending on experience, skills, and qualifications. We also offer a competitive benefits package and opportunities for professional growth and advancement.

Role is currently hybrid in Jacksonville, Florida.
