Senior Accountant

Company: Growing, PE-Backed Organization

Compensation: $75K - $95K base

Location: Remote

This Senior Accountant will partner closely with the Accounting Manager and broader team to support day‑to‑day accounting operations in a fast‑paced, PE‑backed environment. This role requires a detail‑oriented professional who understands that accuracy, timeliness, and accountability are critical.

• Own month‑end and year‑end close including journal entries, reconciliations, variance analysis, and full balance sheet support
• Maintain schedules across fixed assets, intangibles, prepaids, accruals, deferred revenue, intercompany, and foreign currency
• Review revenue recognition in accordance with ASC 606 across subscription and services revenue streams
• Partner with leadership to improve close efficiency, identify risks, and deliver accurate financials
• Support M&A integration efforts, process improvements, and system implementations
• Assist with external audits and provide ad hoc reporting as needed

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• 3+ years of GAAP accounting experience, ideally within a PE‑backed environment
• Strong understanding of US GAAP principles
• Experience with ERP systems;
  Net Suite and Avalara preferred
• Strong Excel skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate cross‑functionally

• CPA or CPA‑track
• SaaS or subscription‑based revenue experience
• Exposure to system implementations or process improvement initiatives
