Senior Accounting Manager

A fast-growing, product-driven SaaS company is seeking a Senior Accounting Manager to join the team on a temporary basis to support its global finance operations during a critical phase of growth. This position is fully remote and open to candidates based on the East Coast of the United States.
Who You Are

• Experienced finance professional with at least 7 years of accounting experience and at least 2 years of leadership experience

• Skilled in managing financial operations for subscription-based SaaS businesses

• Confident working hands-on in Net Suite, especially with general ledger, journal entries, and month-end close

• Familiar with revenue recognition and system integration using Zuora

• Comfortable leading distributed teams across time zones, including international locations

• Adept at navigating both statutory and financial audits

• Well-versed in US GAAP and IFRS standards

• Known for clear, professional communication and a collaborative mindset

• Passionate about fostering team cohesion and ensuring smooth transitions

What You’ll Do

• Lead the month-end close process using Net Suite

• Oversee revenue recognition workflows in Zuora, ensuring compliance with ASC 606

• Manage a small, globally distributed accounting team

• Collaborate cross-functionally to support the integration of Zuora into existing systems

• Maintain oversight of the general ledger, internal controls, and audit readiness for multiple entities

• Ensure consistency and alignment across international accounting operations

• Support year-end audit activities and reporting, with a fiscal year ending December 31

• Month-end close is completed accurately and on schedule

• Revenue recognition processes are streamlined and compliant

• Team members feel supported, aligned, and productive during a period of transition

• Audit processes are smooth, with minimal findings and strong documentation

• Accounting systems and processes are optimized for scalability and integration

• Stakeholders are confident in the accuracy and reliability of financial reporting

Pay Rate Range: $70-90 per hour, based on experience
