We are seeking an experienced Audit Senior to join a growing public accounting firm. This role is ideal for a motivated accounting professional with a strong background in audit engagements who is ready to take on increased responsibility while working with a diverse client base.

The Audit Senior will lead and participate in audit, review, and compilation engagements, supervise junior staff, and work closely with clients and firm leadership to deliver accurate and reliable financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and perform audit, review, and compilation engagements across various industries.
  • Conduct audit planning, risk assessments, and fieldwork in accordance with professional standards.
  • Review work prepared by staff accountants and provide guidance and support.
  • Communicate engagement progress, findings, and recommendations clearly to management and clients.
  • Research and resolve accounting and auditing issues.
  • Ensure all work is completed accurately and within deadlines.
  • Maintain strong client relationships through professional and responsive service.
  • Assist in training and mentoring junior team members.
  • Stay up to date with accounting standards and regulatory changes.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • Public accounting audit experience.
  • CPA license or progress toward certification preferred.
  • Knowledge of U.S. GAAP and GAAS.
  • Experience with audit planning and risk assessment.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Experience with audit software is a plus.
  • Experience with employee benefit plan audits or compliance audits is a plus.
