Boutique CPA Firm in Portland, OR. A long‑standing, highly respected boutique public accounting firm with 40+ years in practice is seeking a Remote Tax Senior to join its growing team. This firm offers true work/life balance, stable leadership, modern technology, and a collaborative environment with very little overtime.

Genuine work/life balance (45–55 hrs busy season, 40 off‑season) with a highly tenured team that has a strong culture and zero private‑equity involvement. The firm utilizes a modern tech stack (Wolters Kluwer CCH Axcess) and has a diverse client mix: small business, real estate, manufacturing, HNW, trusts & estates.

• Prepare and review complex individual, partnership, corporate, and trust returns
• Assist with tax planning and advisory for small businesses & HNW clients
• Collaborate directly with experienced partners and managers
• Minimal overtime and supportive, people‑focused environment

• 3–5+ years of public accounting tax experience
• CPA or actively pursuing

• Strong technical skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting

• Experience with diverse client types

• Firm‑paid CPE, CPA exam support, and professional memberships
• Commissions for bringing in new clients
