Position Description

We have partnered with a growing top‑rated locally owned accounting and client advisory services firm in Jacksonville, FL. This boutique‑CPA and advisory firm is hiring a new Tax Manager for HNW individuals and complex pass‑through situations. The position offers a growth opportunity to work with clients on tax planning and advisory services in a one‑on‑one environment.

Strong analytical and technical tax accounting skills, able to research and implement tax liability and asset‑protection strategies. Perform tax preparation (minor) and tax review work for multiple entities including partnerships, C‑Corps, S‑Corps, high‑net‑worth individuals, trusts, and estate entities. Serve as a leader, mentor, and coach for junior tax employees.

• BA or BS in accounting or equivalent (Finance, Business, Data analytics)
• Salary of 120,000 - $140,000k per year (USD)
• 4–5 years of public accounting experience, preferably in a tax role and senior tax role
• CPA preferred or CPA in progress, with ability to sit for CPA relatively soon with required eligibility
• Experienced in a variety of tax / accounting software programs including CCH, Pro System, and other tax planning software
• Experience with tax review on C‑Corp, S‑Corp, individual, HNW, and complex entity arrangements
• Detail‑oriented with excellent personal skills working with high‑profile clients, founders, CEOs, and VPs of multimillion‑dollar organizations
