Position Description

This is a great opportunity for an Audit Manager role in the Jacksonville, Florida area. A top‑ranked local boutique CPA firm with about 70 employees is growing and in need of a quality Audit Manager. The role includes assurance of GAAP principles for a variety of local businesses across multiple industries.

• Plan, review and execute audit assignments across multiple industries.
• Review and double‑check financials in accordance with GAAP guidelines.
• Serve as a trusted advisor for leaders, business partners, and business owners.
• Lead audit staff, train them on audit best practices, and provide guidance to newer team members.
• Identify areas of improvement for internal controls and provide firm recommendations.

• $105,000–$125,000 salary per year.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting (or equivalent with 3‑5 years of experience in audit/assurance).
• CPA track, or close to receiving CPA, or CPA‑eligible (highly desired but not required).
• 5 years of assurance and audit experience in an accounting firm, family office, accounting and advisory, or CPA firm‑style environment.
• Strong experience with technology and various accounting software programs (e.g., Thompson Reuters).
