We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Audit Manager to join our clients firm. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead and manage a vast array of audit engagements across our diverse portfolio. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in auditing, risk assessment, compliance and assurance. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality audit and assurance services, while also managing and developing a team of auditors.

Responsibilities
  • Leading and managing a portfolio of audit engagements, ensuring the delivery of high-quality audit and assurance services.
  • Developing and implementing audit plans, including risk assessments and audit scopes.
  • Reviewing and approving audit work papers and reports, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Communicating audit findings and recommendations to senior management and clients, including presentations and written reports.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, understanding their business and risk management needs.
  • Supervising, coaching and developing a team of auditors, including performance management and professional development.
  • Participating in business development activities, including proposal development and client presentations.
  • Keeping abreast of current auditing and accounting standards, regulations and industry trends, and applying this knowledge in your work.
  • Qualifications
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in auditing, preferably in the accounting and finance industry.
  • A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CIA, CISA) is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of auditing standards and procedures, risk assessment, and compliance.
  • Proven experience in managing audit engagements, from planning to reporting.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a track record of developing and motivating teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand complex business processes and identify risks and controls.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and team members.
  • Proficiency in using audit software and other relevant IT tools.
  • High level of integrity and professionalism, with a commitment to quality and ethical standards.
