- Perform daily accounting activities and maintain accurate financial records.
- Prepare and post journal entries and assist with month‑end and year‑end close.
- Reconcile general ledger accounts, bank accounts, and other balance sheet accounts.
- Review transactions for accuracy and proper account coding.
- Assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other accounting functions as needed.
- Research and resolve discrepancies in financial records and account balances.
- Prepare financial reports, schedules, and supporting documentation.
- Assist with maintaining accurate records and documentation for audits.
- Support the accounting team with budgeting, forecasting, and other financial analysis as needed.
- Ensure accounting activities are completed accurately and in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
- 2+ years of accounting experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of general accounting principles.
- Experience with general ledger accounting and account reconciliations.
- Strong Excel skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with Sage Intacct or another accounting/ERP system is a plus.
