Essential Functions:

Provide a final technical review on tax returns and documents for the majority of client base.

Research tax issues and develop resolutions or recommendations.

Stay updated on developments and changes in tax law and accounting procedures.

Coordinate and oversee planning, organizing, and interfacing with clients to meet deadlines.

Communicate with clients to ensure their best interests are achieved.

Support and direct staff activities, set budgets, and foster a positive work environment.

Monitor quality and performance of personnel and products.

Manage tasks/projects assigned to staff and supervisors.

Participate in staff development and training activities.

Build and leverage internal and external networks for new business opportunities.

Oversee billing functions, collections, and monitor WIP, aging, and write-downs.

Qualifications:

CPA Certification required.

Minimum 5 years of public accounting experience.

Demonstrated leadership skills.

Strong decision-making skills and initiative.

Ability to work effectively under pressure.

Organizational skills to prioritize a heavy workload.
