- Download and verify bank statements
- Reconcile exchange accruals
- Manage exchange daily files
- Update payment-for-order-flow (PFOF) accruals
- Reconcile billing system data with exchange invoices, daily and monthly exchange data, and PFOF actuals across multiple counter parties
- Prepare and book journal entries for accruals, actuals, connectivity fees, and other charges
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and People Soft uploads
- Prepare, refresh, and email preliminary and final reporting files, including P&L, tiers, AOS/Precision, and client billing
- Refresh kickout files
- Update OCC files
- Upload rules to the billing system
- Reconcile unclaimed wires
- Ensure alignment with exchange fee schedules and updates
- 4+ years of experience in a Financial Services organization in an Accounting role
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance from an accredited college/university
- Strong accounting technical skills
- Experience with Options products is required
- Ability to research US GAAP independently
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Organized and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel
- Data visualization tools are a plus
- Must be currently authorized to work for any employer in the United States
- Employment visa sponsorship is not available for this position
Demonstrates strong accounting technical skills with a focus on reconciliation, compliance with US GAAP, and proficiency in financial reporting. Capable of managing multiple projects while ensuring accuracy in financial data and adherence to accounting standards.
