Auditing Clerk

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Auditing Clerk to support a short-term Contract assignment in Jacksonville, Florida. This role will focus on coordinating user access reviews across multiple divisions, organizing information in Excel, and confirming appropriate access needs with accounting and management contacts. The ideal candidate is highly organized, communicates effectively with a range of stakeholders, and can manage data verification tasks with accuracy and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

- Contact division representatives, controllers, and accounting managers to verify which current banking platform users should retain access and identify any additional users who need to be added.

- Build and maintain organized Excel trackers to document user status, access needs, and assigned roles for the updated banking environment.

- Gather and consolidate information from multiple business units to create a clear, accurate record of access requirements.

- Review submitted details for completeness and follow up on missing, unclear, or conflicting information.

- Coordinate read-only access requests for management team members where appropriate and document approvals or preferences.

- Assign and record recommended user roles based on business needs and input from division leadership.

- Perform data entry and validation activities to ensure all access-related records remain current and reliable.

- Support the transition planning effort by preparing a structured list of users and access levels for the new platform. Requirements - 5+ years of experience in auditing support, accounting operations, data coordination, or a related administrative function.

- Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including the ability to create and manage tracking spreadsheets with a high degree of accuracy.

- Proven ability to collect, compile, and analyze data from multiple sources.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for working with stakeholders across departments.

- Experience researching discrepancies, verifying information, and resolving data inconsistencies.

- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage a high-volume, deadline-driven assignment.

- Comfortable handling portal-based or system access information in a structured and confidential manner.
