Lickety Split Air, Plumbing & Electric is a fast-growing residential HVAC, plumbing, and electrical company. We are seeking a Payroll & Administrative Assistant to support accurate payroll processing while assisting with essential administrative and office functions.
This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to handle confidential information while managing both payroll support and general office responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities Payroll Support- Assist with weekly payroll processing for all employees
- Review and verify timecards, PTO, overtime, and pay codes for accuracy
- Enter payroll data including new hires, terminations, pay changes, and deductions
- Assist with payroll audits and resolve discrepancies prior to payroll submission
- Support off-cycle checks, corrections, and adjustments as needed
- Prepare and make bank deposits as directed
- Perform general office duties including scanning, filing, copying, and document organization
- Maintain accurate physical and digital records in accordance with retention requirements
- Assist with mail handling, document distribution, and basic clerical tasks
- Support office operations and administrative projects as assigned
- Maintain accurate employee and payroll records
- Ensure payroll and administrative processes comply with company policies and applicable laws
- Assist with responding to payroll-related questions with professionalism and discretion
- Partner with Operations and Accounting to ensure data consistency
- Must be able to maintain strict confidentiality regarding employee pay, personal information, and company-sensitive data
- Demonstrates professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment at all times
- Adheres to data privacy, record retention, and access control requirements
- 2-3 years of payroll, administrative, or clerical experience preferred
- Experience using AI tools
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Comfortable working with payroll systems, timekeeping platforms, and office software
- Basic understanding of payroll processes and wage & hour requirements preferred
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work on-site
- Experience supporting multi-location workforce preferred
- Background in trades, construction, or field service environments preferred
- Experience handling cash, checks, or bank deposits
