Project Coordinator II professionals on this contract play a key role in supporting NASA’s mission and the modern space race. From coordinating meetings to managing communications, your work helps keep teams organized, informed, and focused on pushing the boundaries of space exploration and innovation.

Fed Sync is seeking a Project Coordinator II to provide high‑level administrative and operational support within a complex organizational structure at a Division level or within a multi‑layered Directorate/Program. This role requires proactive coordination, discretion, and initiative to manage internal procedures, support executive decision‑making, and facilitate communication across multiple subordinate groups. This position serves as a key liaison between the civil‑servant supervisor and internal/external stakeholders, ensuring smooth execution of administrative functions and strategic priorities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide support to the Center for various projects, programs, or events.
  • Show detailed knowledge and skill in program/project support with an emphasis on planning and coordinating program details, ensuring adherence to U.S. and foreign government regulations, international cultures and customs, and governmental policies and procedures.
  • Demonstrate advanced knowledge and skill in administrating the execution of projects, programs, or events.
  • Represent the Program/Project Manager by participating in development and execution of meetings and communications with government and stakeholders.
  • Assess requirements, develop plans, identify risks and issues, and provide recommendations for managerial decision‑making on program /project execution.
  • Perform all aspects of project execution, including logistical support (facilities, graphics, marketing/communications, security, record management, and transportation), preparing purchase requests, report generation, curriculum establishment, calendar maintenance, record retention, and general website maintenance.
  • Apply in‑depth knowledge of program goals and objectives to effectively execute the sequence of key events and milestones.
  • Work independently to provide senior‑level management with reports and other data for review and decision‑making.
  • Use analysis techniques to evaluate program accomplishments.
  • Plan, organize, and work in teams to make recommendations on project implementation with management.
Qualifications
  • U.S. citizenship required.
  • High school diploma.
  • 2–4 years of equivalent professional experience.
  • Proven experience in project coordination support within a complex, multi‑tiered organization.
  • Strong organizational and time‑management skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to exercise judgment and initiative in non‑routine situations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant administrative tools.
  • Familiarity with federal regulations, directives, and procedural controls is preferred.
Desired / Ideal Applicant

Highly organized, proactive professional with a strong understanding of Project Coordinator II operations in a government or large‑scale organizational setting. Adept at managing competing priorities, navigating formal procedures, and supporting executive‑level decision‑making. Demonstrates initiative, discretion, and the ability to work independently while maintaining alignment with a supervisor’s strategic goals.
