Community Rehabilitation Center (CRC) is seeking a professional, dependable, and organized Receptionist to join our team.

The Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for clients, visitors, and callers and provides essential front-office support. This position will also assist with client intakes and serve as backup to the Medical Records Scheduler.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet and assist clients, visitors, and guests in a professional and welcoming manner.
  • Answer, screen, and route incoming telephone calls.
  • Assist with new client intakes
    , including collecting required information and documentation.
  • Schedule and confirm client appointments.
  • Maintain accurate appointment and scheduling information.
  • Contact clients regarding appointments, changes, and required information.
  • Serve as backup to the Medical Records Scheduler when needed.
  • Assist with medical records requests, filing, scanning, uploading, and retrieval of documentation.
  • Perform data entry and maintain accurate client information.
  • Receive and route documents, mail, and correspondence.
  • Maintain an organized and professional reception area.
  • Protect client confidentiality and follow HIPAA and CRC privacy requirements.
  • Provide general clerical and administrative support.
  • Assist staff and departments with front-office needs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous receptionist or administrative experience preferred.
  • Healthcare or behavioral health office experience preferred.
  • Experience with client/patient intake and scheduling is a plus.
  • Strong computer and data-entry skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer-service skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities.
  • Dependable, punctual, professional, and compassionate.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive client information.
