The Market Data Analyst will join a team responsible for vendor relationship management and serving as the primary business interface for all Market Data functions across BGC Partners, Cantor Fitzgerald, and affiliated entities. This role will work closely with, and provide coverage for, the existing U.S.
-based Business Analyst overseeing Market Data Services for all offices throughout the Americas.
Must have experience using a market data cost inventory system such as MDM (Market Data Manager) or FITS (originally Financial Information Tracking System and now called Optimized Spend).
- Collect and validate Market Data requests submitted via email, internal ticketing systems, or phone.
- Secure required business approvals for new services or changes.
- Place orders with Market Data vendors and coordinate installation with the Desktop Support team through the ticketing portal.
- Manage Bloomberg’s CSC web portal for new orders, relocations, conversions, and exchange permissioning.
- Review and process contract cancellations with vendors.
- Action HR onboarding/offboarding/transfer notifications to ensure accurate service provisioning.
- Coordinate user training sessions with vendors.
- Partner with the Calero/MDSL team to verify data accuracy for accruals, allocations, and inventory management.
- Produce regular reports for Business Managers and Desk Heads on onboarding progress, compliance status, usage trends, and key operational metrics.
- 2–4 years of experience in Market Data operations or related platforms.

- Strong understanding of Market Data industry regulations and compliance standards.
- Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
- Strong communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with brokers, business managers, and senior executives.
- Proficiency with key Market Data platforms, Microsoft Office Suite, and related systems.
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a team.
- Proven ability to perform efficiently under pressure and manage tight deadlines.
- Clear and professional communication skills, both written and verbal, including the ability to explain issues and solutions effectively.
