Title: Business Operations Manager

Location: In Office/Jacksonville, FL metro area (Ponte Vedra)

Reports to: CEO

Salary Range: $120K to $150K base range (depending upon expertise) + equity

You’ll own the “business of the business” so the team can stay focused on building and scaling the product. This is a “make the machine run” position. You’ll partner closely with the CEO and leadership team, build the operating stack, build reporting and documentation, and keep execution unblocked as we grow.

• Keep the company running smoothly day to day—tooling, processes, systems, and reporting that help us move fast without chaos.
• Build and maintain our operating stack (Notion/Slack + whatever we add) with clean templates, docs, and lightweight SOPs.
• Own business operations execution: vendor management, procurement, renewals, and basic contract coordination.
• Run key internal workflows end-to-end (onboarding, access/tools setup, internal comms, process improvements).
• Support hiring ops and recruiting coordination: scheduling, candidate experience, pipeline hygiene, and interview-loop logistics.
• Partner closely with leadership to translate priorities into clear plans and follow-through—without being the bottleneck.
• Track what matters: keep projects organized, surface risks early, and make sure work stays unblocked.

• 4+ years of experience in Business Operations, Strategy & Ops, Operations, or similar (Chief of Staff experience welcomed).
• 1 + year(s) of experience in an early-stage startup, building operations from scratch.
• Strong project management skills: you can drive outcomes across teams without formal authority.
• Excellent written and verbal communication—you synthesize quickly and follow through consistently.
• High ownership and discretion: you can operate in a high-trust environment and handle sensitive topics appropriately.
• Comfortable in fast-paced, early-stage environments with ambiguity and changing priorities.
• Systems mindset: you build repeatable processes, not one-off fixes.
• Able to work in-office in the Jacksonville (Ponte Vedra) area.

• Experience building operating rhythms, internal tooling, and lightweight KPI reporting for a SaaS business.
• Experience coordinating vendors, tools, contracts, and/or basic finance ops workflows.
• Interest in fintech, tax, SMB platforms, and AI-first products.
