General
Position Summary:
Work collaboratively with the Business Unit Leaders to review, analyze and evaluate business systems and user needs in a matrix organization. Document requirements, define scope and objectives and formulate systems and reports to support the overall business strategies. This position is located in Jacksonville, Florida.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Determine operational objectives by studying business functions and trends - gather information; evaluate output requirements and formats and create supporting reports
- Construct workflow charts and diagrams; study system capabilities; write specifications to encapsulate the business service delivery needs
- Work closely with team members to identify opportunities to improve productivity, scalability and profitability of the Business Unit - study current practices, industry trends and identify needs, with a focus on the short and long-term business goals
- Recommend controls by identifying problems; writing improved procedures
- Monitor project progress by tracking activity; resolving problems; publishing progress reports; recommending actions
- Prepare technical reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends
- Conduct and coordinate financial, product, market, operational and related research to support strategic and business planning within the various departments and programs of the Business Unit
- Interpret, evaluate and interrelate research data and develop integrated business analyses and projections for incorporation into strategic decision-making
- Perform daily, weekly and monthly reviews and analyses of current processes using operational metrics and reports
- Suggest changes to Senior Management using analytics to support recommendations - actively participate in the implementation of approved changes
- Create informative, actionable and repeatable reporting that highlights relevant business trends and opportunities for improvement
- Conduct insightful, ad hoc analyses to investigate ongoing or one-time operational challenges

This position does not require direct reports but does require the need to manage groups of people, facilitate meetings and oversee Subject Matter Experts to complete assigned tasks.

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Facilitate large groups, manage conflict and arrive at a comprehensive decision
- Follow-up and follow through on deliverables for the business and from SMEs
- Participate in, and occasionally manage, daily huddles to ensure all parties are aware of project status, timelines, roadblocks and upcoming deliverables

Education & Experience:
- Education:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience - Related Experience
- Project management engagements
- Business requirements documentation skills and/or participation requirements delivery
- PMP, CAPM, or CBAP certification or demonstrated knowledge of BABOK helpful
Travel:
- Some travel required.
Language
Skills:
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports.
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Mathematical
Skills:
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
- Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Reasoning Ability:
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Computer Operations:
- To perform this job successfully, an individual should have strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, and the ability to learn and effectively use software applications such as move management, accounting/billing, HRIS, timekeeping and other applications used in the performance of job duties.
