Next Generation Management & Accounting Transition Assistant Next Generation Management & Accounting Services is a growing community association management company committed to teamwork, accountability, customer service, and operational excellence. We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Transition Assistant to support the onboarding of new communities. This role works closely with the Transition Department and internal teams to coordinate onboarding activities, track deadlines, follow up on outstanding items, and help ensure a smooth transition process.

Position Overview The Transition Specialist plays a key role in ensuring the seamless onboarding and offboarding of properties within our portfolio. This position is responsible for coordinating all operational, administrative, and financial aspects of transitions while maintaining continuity of service for clients, residents, and internal teams.

Compensation & Schedule Hourly Rate: $19.00 – $24.00 per hour

Schedule:

Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (1-hour lunch)

Sunrise, FL Benefits

Responsibilities

Manage the full transition process for properties, including both onboarding and offboarding

Serve as the primary liaison between internal teams, property owners, vendors, and residents

Develop and manage transition timelines, checklists, and deliverables to ensure deadlines are met Coordinate the transfer, setup, or closure of utilities, vendor contracts, service agreements, and access credentials

Collect, review, organize, and archive all property documentation, including financials, contracts, and governing documents

Ensure accurate data entry and updates within property management systems

Facilitate communication across departments (accounting, maintenance, compliance, and administration) to ensure alignment

Reconcile accounts and support accurate financial reporting during transitions

Identify and resolve issues or risks that may arise, escalating when necessary

Conduct post-transition reviews and recommend process improvements

Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable legal and regulatory requirements

Qualifications

Education:

High School Diploma required;
Bachelor’s degree in Property Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred

Experience:

Previous property management experience required

Skills:

Strong multitasking skills with exceptional organization and attention to detail

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Strong project management and problem-solving skills

Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), Adobe, and cloud-based file systems
