Location: Hybrid (3 days in office, 2 days remote) from Jacksonville, FL or Milwaukee, WI or Atlanta, GA
Responsibilities Product & Backlog Ownership- Own and manage a prioritized backlog of AI-related product ideas, concepts, and epics
- Identify and assess AI-enabled opportunities aligned to enterprise transformation goals
- Translate business needs into clear product problem statements, value propositions, and success measures
- Define product vision, scope, and intended outcomes for AI initiatives
- Develop and maintain product roadmaps and thematic investment areas
- Apply value-based prioritization to support investment and sequencing decisions
- Ensure risk, compliance, and responsible AI considerations are incorporated into product definitions
- Support transition of validated ideas into delivery team backlogs
- Monitor delivered outcomes and realized value to inform continuous backlog refinement
- Communicate product priorities, status, and outcomes to senior stakeholders
- Lead and quality-assure product discovery activities executed by analysts
- Partner with architecture, engineering, and data teams to assess feasibility and solution options
- Establish standardized discovery frameworks, outputs, and tooling
- Ensure consistency and quality of business cases, requirements, and backlog artifacts
- Manage, coach, and develop a team of Business Process Analysts / Analysts
- Define team priorities aligned to product and transformation objectives
- Establish performance expectations, development plans, and career progression pathways
- Build and scale discovery and analysis capabilities to support AI product pipelines
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and accountability
- This is afirst-line manager role responsible for both product outcomes and team leadership within AI-driven transformation initiatives.
- Leads a small team responsible for discovery, analysis, and backlog development
- Works independently on high-complexity initiatives requiring advanced judgment
- Influences product strategy and prioritization across multiple domains
- Engages with senior leaders to shape AI-enabled transformation initiatives
Accountable for team performance, output quality, and capability development - Typically requires 8+ years of experience in product management, transformation, or related disciplines, with prior leadership experience preferred
- Advanced product management and product discovery expertise
- Demonstrated people leadership and team management experience
- Strong understanding of AI-enabled solutions, automation, and digital technologies
- Ability to operate effectively in complex, ambiguous transformation environments
- Strategic thinking combined with practical execution capability
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills across executive and delivery levels
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working within agile and product delivery frameworks
- Analytical and value-oriented decision-making skills
- Ability to coach and develop talent in a transformation-driven environment
- Continuous learning mindset, particularly related to AI and emerging technologies
