Role Description

Four (4) Senior Project Planner roles, two full‑time, on‑site roles based in Jasonville, FL, and in Houston, TX, plus two (2) 100% remote roles responsible for leading the planning and scheduling functions on complex construction and infrastructure projects. Day‑to‑day activities include developing and maintaining detailed CPM schedules, coordinating baseline and update schedules, and performing schedule quality reviews aligned with client and industry standards.

The role involves supporting project controls through progress measurement, resource and cost loading, and variance analysis to identify risks, delays, and opportunities for recovery. The Senior Project Planner collaborates closely with project managers, forensic analysts, and client stakeholders to interpret schedule data, prepare clear narrative reports, and contribute to dispute resolution and claims analysis. This position also supports the implementation and optimization of scheduling tools (such as Oracle Primavera P6), mentors junior team members, and helps refine best practices for PSC’s planning and scheduling services.

Qualifications
  • Candidates should possess strong Planning & Scheduling skills, including hands‑on experience with CPM methodologies and tools such as Oracle Primavera P6 or equivalent.
  • Candidates should possess robust Analytical Skills, including the ability to interpret complex schedule data, perform delay and impact analyses, and support forensic schedule reviews.
  • Candidates should possess solid Planning and Project Control capabilities, including progress tracking, resource and cost loading, performance measurement, and risk identification.
  • Candidates should possess effective Communication skills, including clear written reporting, presentation of findings to technical and non‑technical audiences, and collaborative stakeholder engagement.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, project management, or a related field; advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., PSP, PMP) is beneficial.
  • Significant experience (typically 8+ years) in construction or infrastructure project planning, with exposure to large capital programs or dispute-related assignments preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in project controls software and MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, and familiarity with government or owner‑side project environments.
