Responsibilities
Compensation: $15.00 hourly. Monday training on EMERGE course modules;
Tuesday and Wednesday supervised internship at the JEA lab focusing on understanding, designing, and demonstrating a working microgrid. Seven high school interns will be organized into a team structure assigning each a primary role while ensuring all participate in core lab testing, lectures, and final capstone build.
High school students participating in the workforce development program EMERGE with Dr. Fletcher and Dr. Raj during Summer 2026 (June and July 2026).
Statement of UnderstandingThis position requires a background check and may also require a credit check in accordance with University policy.
