MBA Strategy & Market Intelligence Intern

Role & responsibilities

• Conduct primary and secondary market research to identify industry trends, customer insights, and competitive landscapes.
• Perform competitor benchmarking and prepare market intelligence reports.
• Develop market sizing estimates using Top-Down and Bottom-Up approaches (TAM, SAM, and SOM).
• Assist in preparing financial models, ROI calculations, business cases, and valuation support.
• Organize research findings into professional PowerPoint presentations, reports, and consulting deliverables.
• Leverage AI tools and Large Language Models (LLMs) to accelerate research, summarize information, and improve productivity.
• Support strategy development, business planning, and commercialization initiatives.
• Collaborate with consultants and global team members across different time zones.
• Participate in client meetings, brainstorming sessions, and project discussions.
• Assist with occasional travel for client interactions, market research, conferences, exhibitions, government interactions, and internal meetings, as required.

• Currently pursuing an MBA (mid-course) or recently completed an MBA from a recognized institution.
• Strong analytical, research, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP, formulas, charts) and Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced consulting environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high‑quality work.
• Knowledge of business strategy and consulting frameworks.
• Understanding of market sizing techniques (TAM, SAM, SOM).
• Basic knowledge of financial modelling and business valuation concepts.
• Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, or similar platforms.
• Interest in innovation, entrepreneurship, sustainability, and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
• Prior internship or project experience in consulting, market research, startups, or business strategy will be an added advantage.
