Feeding Northeast Florida (FNEFL) is the regional Feeding America food bank serving a 12-county area across Northeast Florida. Through food distribution, nutrition programs, and strategic partnerships, FNEFL works to improve health and strengthen communities by ensuring access to nutritious food for all.
The Home Delivery Program Manager supports Feeding Northeast Florida's home delivery initiatives by coordinating participants, partners, volunteers, and delivery vendors to ensure reliable, compassionate service for neighbors experiencing food insecurity.
Position SummaryWorking under the direction of the Director of Health Promotions, this position manages participant referrals, delivery operations, operational data, and program workflows while exercising independent judgment to resolve day-to-day operational challenges and continuously improve program processes.
Principal Duties And Responsibilities Program Operations- Manage daily operations of home delivery programs to ensure efficient, reliable service.
- Coordinate participant referral, enrollment, scheduling, and delivery workflows.
- Monitor program operations and proactively resolve operational challenges.
- Exercise independent judgment in resolving participant and delivery issues while escalating strategic or budgetary matters as appropriate.
- Coordinate with delivery vendors including Door Dash, Amazon, and future delivery partners.
- Troubleshoot delivery issues and implement operational solutions.
- Adapt operational processes as delivery methods and service areas evolve.
- Develop, document, maintain, and improve standard operating procedures.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, consistency, and participant experience.
- Implement workflow improvements aligned with departmental goals.
- Maintain accurate participant records and operational documentation.
- Ensure timely and accurate data entry to support reporting and program evaluation.
- Monitor data quality and resolve discrepancies.
- Build and maintain program tracking tools in Microsoft Excel; develop templates and tracking systems as programs evolve
- Serve as the primary operational liaison between Health Promotions, Operations, Warehouse, and other internal departments.
- Coordinate with clinic partners and community organizations to support participant services.
- Foster collaborative working relationships that support efficient program operations.
- Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise volunteers supporting home delivery operations.
- Ensure volunteers receive appropriate orientation and guidance while maintaining a positive volunteer experience.
- Communicate professionally and compassionately with participants regarding enrollment, scheduling, deliveries, and program updates.
- Resolve participant concerns while maintaining a high standard of customer service.
The Home Delivery Program Manager supports all active and emerging FNEFL home delivery programs. Current programs include:
- Produce Prescription (Healthier Together) -- clinical referral-based produce delivery to program participants in partnership with healthcare providers
- Homebound Client Delivery -- ongoing door-to-door delivery for neighbors who are unable to access a pantry or distribution site
- Emergency Food Boxes -- rapid response delivery for neighbors who contact FNEFL directly with an acute food access need
- Rural Delivery -- delivery coordination for neighbors outside standard vendor coverage areas, managed in partnership with Operations

Required Job Qualifications- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
