Description
The Compliance Specialist supports affordable housing communities by ensuring compliance with LIHTC, HUD, RD, HOME, and Fair Housing regulations. This role is responsible for reviewing resident files and certifications, conducting compliance audits, supporting onsite teams, and helping maintain accurate reporting and regulatory readiness across the portfolio.

Do you thrive on organization, accuracy, and making sure everything stays compliant and audit-ready? Hayes Gibson Property Services is looking for an experienced Compliance Specialist to join our growing team!
What You’ll Do:- Review certifications & resident eligibility
- Conduct file audits & compliance reviews
- Support HUD, LIHTC, HOME & RD compliance efforts
- Assist onsite teams with training & regulatory guidance
- Help communities stay inspection and audit ready
- Affordable housing compliance experience
- Knowledge of LIHTC, HUD, EIV & Fair Housing
- Strong attention to detail & organizational skills
- Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Team-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM with an hour for lunch.

- Compensation: $50,000-$55,000 annually, based on experience.
