The Manager CBO Collections AR:
Responsible for directing the day-to-day management of functions to include managing, planning, and overseeing all Bay Care Hospitals, Bay Care Outreach, Bay Care Imaging Centers, Bay Care Medical Group and Bay Care Urgent Care Centers collections and accounts receivables processes.
Works to ensure accounts receivables are worked timely and effectively to maximize the cash flow. Responsible in maintaining high levels of quality, technology, and customer satisfaction while maximizing reimbursement. Responsible for the collections, denials and credit balances for all business lines.
Develops and reviews policies and procedures and department goals and objectives. Responsible for organizing data into useful information and strategic and operational decision-making purposes, directing and implementing system-wide projects as directed.
Required specific skills include:
- Knowledge of billing and collection practices
- Compliance and billing of all business lines and systems used for those business lines to manager accounts receivables
Responsible for conducting team member education, training, and work process development to ensure high level accuracy. Maintain the accounts receivable within the area of responsibility and keep Leadership informed of issues, trends, and all developments that could impact A/R.
Minimum Qualifications
Experience
- Requires 3 years
- Supervisory Role in a related field - Requires 5 years
- Collections or Accounts Receivable or Patient Financial Services experience
Education
Required
- High School Graduate or Equivalent GED
